Isola Bella in Taormina, a splendid location connected to the mainland by a thin strip of sand, is one of the most beautiful places in Sicily. There are numerous options to get to Isola Bella in Taormina, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily. This island has been nicknamed the “Pearl of the Mediterranean” due to its particular location and its luxuriant nature, elements that have made it one of the most beautiful and popular places in all of Sicily.
San Gregorio beach
This lovely beach is located along the coast of San Gregorio, a seaside resort in Capo d’Orlando, which stands out for its natural beauty, to be enjoyed for a perfect summer holiday in Sicily . Along the San Gregorio beach you can admire lovely sandy dunes, ravines, inlets and splendid clear waters from which several rocks of various sizes emerge.
Marina di Ragusa
Marina di Ragusa is one of the most renowned tourist seaside resorts in Sicily, located at about 20 km from Ragusa. There are many reasons to visit this place: the landscape that combines the sea with the hills, the cuisine rich in typical local delicacies that make every place a food and wine journey, the monumental and architectural heritage unique in the world recognized by UNESCO. All of this makes the province of Ragusa the ideal holiday destination.
San Lorenzo, Syracuse Province
San Lorenzo is one of the most wonderful beaches in South Eastern Sicily. The very fine light-colored sand and crystal clear waters make San Lorenzo one of the most popular destinations to visit. From San Lorenzo it is easy to reach, both on foot and by sea, the suggestive Vendicari Nature Reserve (further north) with another wonderful and unmissable beach of Calamosche.
Calamosche, Syracuse Province
The Calamosche has an extension of about 200 meters. The waters of this cove are enclosed between two rocky promontories that guarantee the waters shelter from the currents with the result of a sea that is always calm and crystalline. Being part of the Vendicari reserve it goes without saying that both the beach and the waters are extremely clean and the seabed lends itself very well to snorkelling enthusiasts, especially near the reef where the seabed is deeper. As far as the coast is concerned, Calamosche satisfies all tastes by presenting both a sandy and a rocky stretch.
Fontane Bianche beach is about 19 km from Ortigia. Here you can enjoy 3 km of white sand, with numerous sources of fresh water that flow from the seabed, hence the name Fontane Bianche which means White fountains. The beach of Fontane Bianche has a transparent sea that slopes gently, suitable for children of any age, thanks also to the warm temperature of its waters. On the beach in the summer we find both stretches of free beach accessible to all and equipped with deckchairs, umbrellas, canoes, pedal boats, showers, bars and restaurants.
Punta Marinello near Patti, Messina
Such an enchanting place that it has been declared an Oriented Nature Reserve. Its sandy beach is bathed by a beautiful transparent, crystalline and warm sea, which offers an alternation of more or less deep seabeds. On the one hand, the waters of the sea are very sheltered due to the presence of the sand tongue that protects the coast and forms a sort of natural pool, so this area is also very suitable for children, on the other hand, however, there is the open sea with the Aeolian islands in the distance.
